The Creative Economy Agency, Chiang Mai had held an inaugural meeting on 24 May 2024, with various local organizations, educational institutions, and agencies to plan the Chiang Mai Design Week 2024 (CMDW2024). Over 20 entities participated in this brainstorming session to outline the festival, scheduled for December 7-15, 2024, under the theme “𝗦𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗟𝗢𝗖𝗔𝗟: 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆” With the support of all sectors, the collaboration aims to boost the local economy, enhance international competitiveness, and improve the people’s quality of life.
