We are moving to an era that is full of things. While our world is already overwhelmed by garbage, consumer items are newly produced everyday. Second hand or broken items carry unique character. “Damages” like dents, scratches, corrosion and so on, occur by use and show an object's journey and past. It tells a story about the way it was handled and cared for by its previous owners. Marks left by production stamps, tell about the tools origin, and material composition. The aim for this project is to use a craft approach to repair things while concerning its original life story, so that those things can not only be functional again but also amplify its unique persona.
