เพราะความเป็นท้องถิ่นนี่แหละชิค! ชวนอัปเดตเทรนด์ Glocal จากท้องถิ่นสู่โลก ในเทศกาลงานออกแบบเชียงใหม่ 2566

ระยะหลัง ที่ได้ผ่านตากันบ่อย พอ ๆ กับคำว่า Soft Power เห็นจะเป็นกระแสความเป็นท้องถิ่นนี่แหละ ไม่ว่าจะจากภาพยนตร์ เพลง หรือสื่ออื่น ๆ มากมาย เช่นเดียวกับในเทศกาลงานออกแบบเชียงใหม่ 2566 หรือ Chiang Mai Design Week 2023 ที่เชิดชูพลังสร้างสรรค์จากท้องถิ่นในภาคเหนือต่อเนื่องมาเป็นปีที่ 9 ซึ่งในปีนี้เราก็ยังไม่พลาดจัดเต็มโชว์เคสสนุก ๆ จากเหล่านักสร้างสรรค์คืนถิ่น (homecoming creator) โดยเฉพาะกับนิทรรศการนี้ที่ต้องไม่พลาด!

‘Hyper Local: Reconnecting with Our Roots’ คือนิทรรศการโดยเหล่านักออกแบบหลากรุ่นที่มาร่วมขับเคลื่อนเทรนด์ Glocal จากเชียงใหม่ให้ดังไกลทั่วโลก! ผ่านการหยิบต้นทุนทั้งด้านภูมิปัญญาและวัสดุจากท้องถิ่นมาสร้างสรรค์งานออกแบบร่วมสมัยให้สอดรับไปกับเทรนด์โลก นิทรรศการจัดแสดงงานออกแบบอันหลากหลาย ตั้งแต่เฟอร์นิเจอร์ ของแต่งบ้าน เครื่องประดับ ฯลฯ ภายใต้ 4 แนวคิดสุดอินเทรนด์ ไม่ว่าจะเป็น ‘ภูมิใจในความจริงแท้’ (Authentic Soul), ‘เพื่อเรา-เพื่อโลก’ (Eco Ethical), ‘เป็นต่อด้วยความร่วมสมัย’ (Arty Aesthetic) และ ‘สร้างสรรค์เพื่อแก้ปัญหา’ (Innovative Solution)

Let’s Hype the Locals! ‘Hyper Locals: Reconnecting with Our Roots’ Exhibition’ @ Chiang Mai Design Week 2023 

The buzz about localism has echoed through movies, music, and various media channels, emerging as a theme often associated with ‘soft power.’ In alignment with this trend, Chiang Mai Design Week 2023 is back for its ninth consecutive year, promising a diverse array of wonderful showcases that spotlight the creativity of the local community. From homecoming creators to igniting local power, the ‘Hyper Local: Reconnecting with Our Roots’ Exhibition is a must-see event!

This exhibition brings together Thai designers from 25 leading brands to drive the ‘Glocal’ trend, bridging the gap from northern Thailand’s local scene to the global stage. It achieves this by incorporating local assets such as wisdom, craftsmanship skills, and natural materials into the creation of contemporary-styled objects, including furniture, home decorations, accessories, and even lifestyle products.The showcases are organized into four trends: Authentic Soul, Eco Ethical, Arty Aesthetic, and Innovative Solution.
